This standard required us to make a communication tool for parents. This was supposed ot be for a back to school night. It was meant to give parents an oulook on the school year, as well as useful information that can help both parties for the new school year.
This is a very nice way to communicate with the parents. Newsletters are good and resouceful way to get the information to parents. When you mix technology with it, parents are more likely to put connect with you. We are in a fast paced society and we need to e on the same playing field as educators.
